Organic C02 Extracted Oils
New Extraction Method
Carbon Dioxide, or C02, extraction is a new method of plant essence such as oils and essential oils from their source i.e. the plant from which they are extracted.
What is C02?
C02 is the gas that we all breathe out of our lungs. We breathe in oxygen and we breathe out carbon dioxide.
C02 is also the gas that plant-life naturally thrives on.
How Does it Work?
C02 is a gas.
By using low temperatures and high pressure this gas turns into a liquid which can then be used to safely and effectively collect the active components of the chosen plant.
The collected components are not damaged by heat, unlike when they are extracted using conventional distillation methods.
Once the active components are extracted, the C02 is allowed to return to its natural gaseous state, leaving behind only the extracted essence of the plant.
What Does this Mean?
When oils are extracted using this method, it means that the extracted oils are the closest possible representation of the plant, itself, thus making them the purest and gentlest botanical extracts used in skincare.
It means that the active components associated with that plant remain undamaged and as pure as possible.
It means that your skin receives the very best an oil can offer. Your skin receives the maximum benefits possible.
